Welcome to the website of the Winston-Salem Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. We hope that this allows you to learn a bit more about our chapter and how we continue to serve the ideals of our organization. Proudly and boldly representing the South Atlantic Region, we have remained committed to sisterhood, scholarship, and service in the Winston-Salem community for almost 85 years. We have continued to seek out community-based partnerships, remain committed to public service, and have always focused on and been dedicated to our sorority’s commitment to social action. We continue to forge new paths, remaining a beacon for others to follow in our community.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has been at the forefront of this work since 1913, when 22 collegiate women decided to use their collective efforts to make a better world and to stand up for injustices in our communities. We remain committed to the Sorority’s mission and work actively to further the Sorority’s Five Programmatic Thrusts. Our goal is to strategically align with the Sorority’s mission and focus on the African-American community, and to strengthen the impact we have on women, children, and families.
